The concept is based for an advantageous usage of the context surrounding the plot, keeping in mind the urban and environmental factors which create the design form.
Based on the sun´s angle, we proposed inverted inclinations both in the glass façade as in each floor boundary, gaining a better and higher light entrance. At the same time this separation gave us the opportunity to let the air flow trough the internal spaces, making it possible to sustain a natural and comfortable temperature.
Functionally the project is based in three basic distinctions:
Public, private and service space: this to ensure a better fluence on circulation spaces and a friendlier interaction within a mixed-use complex building.
Formally we go from a complex tilted façade to a much soberer contrast between materials, from strong and cold concrete and steel structures to a warmer and lighter wood details.
The primary goal is to highlight the showroom area by creating an internal circulation flow and open spaces which can make it friendlier to the user.
Este concepto está pensado para un buen aprovechamiento del contexto, teniendo en cuenta factores urbanos y ambientales que le dan forma al diseño.
Basados en las condiciones climáticas, se propusieron inclinaciones invertidas en cristales y losas, para generar una mayor entrada de luz. Al mismo tiempo, creamos una ventilación natural que circula por todo el edificio, interna y externamente, todo esto, para mantener una temperatura óptima.
Funcionalmente, el proyecto se basa en tres distinciones básicas, que son:
Público, privado y de servicios; creando así una mayor fluidez en las circulaciones de cada uso y respetando la interacción de un complejo de usos mixtos.
Formalmente partimos de un diseño sobrio, aprovechando el contraste de materiales sólidos contra la sensación de ligereza que nos aporta la fachada de cristal.
El objetivo principal es la exhibición de ambientes, resaltando la zona de “showroom” y considerando en esta una circulación interna que permita al usuario tener una experiencia amigable y placentera.
